Aqualution Systems Ltd is an independent UK-based company which is engaged in proving and developing new applications for the Aqualution® technology both in the UK and other countries.
 
Aqualution® technology is used to generate a highly effective biocide which can be supplied in quantities from impregnated wipes, through small spray bottles to volume on-site generation
 
The company is based in the Borders region of Scotland where it manufactures both the biocide and the machines which generate it.
 
The company are working with customers across the UK, in Europe and beyond, supported by their technical centre (which can monitor on-site installations remotely) and by local agents.
 
The company is managed by it owners and directors who have invested their own money to bring the technology to wider markets.
 
Aqualution Systems Ltd is devoted to developing systems and products for the control of pathogens in the environment through the direct treatment of water, surface cleaning or aerosol dispersal. 
 
Their products address many of the major public health threats we face today – including MRSA, Clostridium difficile,
Escherichia coli and the various influenzas (including all 15 "H"s and all 9 "N"s).
 
They work faster and more effectively than most other cleaning and disinfecting agents – requiring only a few seconds contact time to kill bacteria - but are completely safe for humans and animals. In short, they can kill 99.99% of microorganisms in less than 1 minute; and with no significant safety precautions or health warnings to worry about.
 
The products are also environmentally friendly and require no special disposal measures.
 
Aqualution products work through the same mechanism which the human body uses to protect itself against bacteria, fungi and spores but uses it in quantity to eliminate these risks before they enter the body.
 
Aqualution uses a proprietary combination of electrolysis and ion exchange technology to produce a stable fast-acting biocide which can be supplied as a ready to use bottled product, in bulk containers or, for industrial uses, can be generated on site.
