The shift, which took effect Monday (15 April), has been announced as part of a reorganisation of the Marfrig Group, especially focused on its European operations, in a bid to become a leading global food company.
It will see Moy Park being responsible for around £1.5bn business turnover in Europe, with the European units of Keystone Europe, Seara and Marfrig operations all coming under the direction of Moy Park.
The reorganisation is also due to benefit its customers and open up further opportunities to access a wide range of Marfrig products not currently sold in the European market.
