Working in a fast paced manufacturing environment your role will be critical in managing preventative maintenance activity and supporting the day to day operation to maximize equipment availability and production efficiency.
The role:
- Responsible for proactive maintenance and reviewing and improving the current preventative maintenance program.
- You will make a major contribution to improvements to equipment and efficiencies on site and as part of the engineering team foster strong working relationships with production.
- Promote and be an enthusiastic participant in Continuous Improvement activity with a focus on reducing downtime.
Your experience:
- A recognized engineering qualification/apprentice trained with strong mechanical skills.
- Hands on engineering experience gained in a manufacturing environment, food manufacturing experience is advantageous but not essential
- A proactive character with the ability to build positive and strong relationships across engineering and the broader team to deliver project activity.
