Having undergone significant growth our client are seeking to recruit a Maintenance Manager to the team to maintain their clear focus on PPM and equipment availability. You’ll operate from a state of the art site that benefits from recent investment.
The role:
- Reporting into the Site Engineering Manager you will be responsible for core elements of the site engineering function covering robust maintenance practices, PPM and health and safety.
- The site has significant investment and as such you will have exposure to a variety of equipment and be required to manage both proactive and reactive engineering issues.
- You will be passionate about best practice and play an important role in improvement activities and building relationships with production teams.
- You will lead a team of multi-skilled engineers and be responsible for their training, development and motivation.
Your experience:
- You should be either an apprentice trained engineer or hold relevant engineering qualifications and have experience of managing a team within a manufacturing environment.
- A flexible and hands on approach is essential and if required you should be happy to step in and support your team.
- You must be able to motivate and deliver improvements through your confident and proactive approach. You will be able to demonstrate accountability and effective delivery of goals and have broad engineering skills and a passionate approach that will inspire the people around you.
- Food manufacturing experience is advantageous.
- A self motivated individual will have ideally gained experience of working within an improvement focused business. This is a great opportunity to join a people orientated business committed to future development.
