Vacancy Details
The role:
· As a key advisor to the site management team you will manage and influence the site Health & Safety performance.
· Review of existing practises and the recommendation and implementation of new procedures as appropriate.
· You will liaise with relevant external bodies and have strong influencing and training skills working closely with operations and management teams.
· You must share H&S best practise on a site and group basis and support the site audit programme.
· You will manage risk assessments and the investigation of all incidents and work to ensure best practice as well as support the site environment standards.
Your experience:
· NEBOSH / IOSH qualified with experience of working in a complex manufacturing environment in a role with a significant exposure to health & safety.
· FMCG experience would be desirable but not essential (food manufacturing / pharmaceutical manufacturing advantageous).
· You should champion Health & Safety with a focus on working with teams to develop positive H&S behaviours.
· Experience of being accountable for Health & Safety and show a track record of delivering improvement and effective management and resolution of related issues.
· Knowledge and experience of site environmental standards is very advantageous.
