Maintenance Engineer
Day shift
Working for one of UKs leading food manufacturers in their field, producing some of the most recognisable products. Currently undergoing a period of growth and sustained investment they are now busier than ever. Working in a fast-moving, high volume environment I am seeking talented multi-skilled engineers to ensure that minimum downtime and maximum productivity is achieved.
The role of the Maintenance Engineer and your responsibilities;
- Responsible for both reactive and proactive maintenance.
- Management of day to day issues throughout the manufacturing process as well as planned maintenance activity.
- You will have a vital input in to projects and improvement work to enhance performance.
- Ability to react quickly to breakdowns
- You will make a major contribution to improvements to equipment and efficiencies on site and as part of the engineering team foster strong working relationships with production.
You the successful candidate and your experience;
- Qualified to NVQ level 3/City & Guilds with Electrical/Mechanical Bias or equivalent.
- Ideally you will have gained experienced working in automated food/ pharma manufacturing facility
- Manage and prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and fault-find within the production facility
- Must be a good team player
