Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer
Currently offering multiple opportunities for Multiskilled Engineers, on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern for my client who is a leader withing their field. Seeking Multiskilled Engineers that are focused on proactive maintenance activities and who strive to maintain and improve equipment.
In this role, you will:
- Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance and shutdown activities on plant.
- Work to company practices, procedures and rules to ensure health & safety, food safety and legal compliance are upheld at all times.
- Perform proactive/reactive maintenance tasks effectively and efficiently.
- Report and escalate all equipment issues identified during PM activities to appropriate functions.
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability of assets and engineering working processes.
- Support improvements projects, identifying engineering root causes and carry out CI project work actions.
Requirements:
- You will have demonstrable mechanical and electrical competence through training and experience, an Engineering Qualification or Apprenticeship (HNC or above preferred).
- Must have had exposure to highly automated manufacturing/ packing equipment including vacuums and sealers.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, good time management skills, coupled with the ability to make timely decisions and be a team player.
- Experience of working within a food manufacturing environment and PLC fault finding experience.
