Site Services and Facilities Maintenance Engineer

- Monday to Friday days
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a £multi-million food manufacturing business which manufactures high quality chilled products to a multitude of retail customers. Our client is one of the market leaders within their sector and they pride themselves on quality of product and delivering exceptional customer service. Our client is seeking a Site services and Facilities Maintenance Engineer to maintain various types of food manufacturing equipment, services and buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Engineering support to Production to ensure efficient performance on all equipment
- Carry out Maintenance on Utilities within the plant including gas systems, water treatment, steam systems and boiler systems.
- Carry out facilities maintenance on the whole building.
- Ensure that all H&S procedures, engineering best practice are adhered to at all times
- You will carry out reactive and preventative maintenance on utility equipment.
- Accurate & timely records are entered and recorded on all work carried out, root causes of failures and of spares/consumables used
Required Skills & Experience:
- Time served apprenticeship or equivalent
- Recognised Engineering qualification
- Previous facilities and maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Flexible working attitude
- Competent electrical / fault finding & analysis skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
- Methodical & strong attention to detail
- Strong trouble shooting & decision making skills
