We’re seeking an experienced Transport professional to head up a busy mixed fleet delivering temperature controlled product daily throughout the UK. You’ll need to show exceptional people leadership skills and the ability to juggle your day to day responsibilities with the need for proactive CI activity as well as consistently striving to meet and exceed service expectations.
You’ll lead your team from purpose built state of the art facilities, the business can offer genuine opportunities for career progression.
The role:
- You will have full responsibility for managing the mixed in house fleet and drivers.
- The role will be centered around mapping daily deliveries and multi drop route planning.
- You will manage the entire Transport function managing a team on c40 drivers
Your experience:
- You will have previous experience of working within a fast paced quick turn around transport and distribution environment.
- Previous experience of multi temperature distribution would be a distinct advantage as would exposure to food products but not esstential
- You will hold a National CPC qualification
- Central to this role will be your ability to effectively manage, motivate and coach a diverse team of drivers.
