The Role:
- The Transport Manager will have full responsibility for managing the mixed in-house fleet and 3PL operations across multiple GB Sites
- You will be responsible for delivering process improvements and driving delivery efficiency and best practice through the team whilst also instilling a culture of passion and pride in everything your team does.
- Ensuring key performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved, including service and financial targets
- Able to build efficiencies and improve profit line without jeopardising service
The Person:
- Currently operating as a Transport Manager and will have previous experience of working within a fast paced quick turn around transport and distribution environment.
- Previous experience of Chilled food manufacturing and multi temperature distribution would be a distinct advantage.
- You will ideally already hold a CPC and be fully conversant with all relevant current legislation.
- Central to this role will be your ability to effectively manage, motivate and coach a diverse team of drivers
