As a market leading food manufacturer our client values NPD at the forefront of their business. They have a reputation for producing exceptionally innovative and high-quality products. An opportunity has arisen for a Senior NPD Technologist to join their team in a role that will be key in driving creative development in a fast paced categories.
The Role:
- You will be responsible for developing fabulous recipes that are exceptionally creative and fulfil challenging briefs.
- You will develop a real diversity of products and have the opportunity to fully flex your creative muscles.
- You’ll maintain a hands on approach and mentor the NPD team to inspire innovative thinking.
- You will develop a strong understanding of the broader marketplace, creative influences and consumer demands to develop commercially viable products that reflect exceptional quality.
- You must have excellent project management skills and be a creative driver for the business.
The Person:
- We are seeking a truly creative individual with a real passion, affinity and love of food underpinned by a strong commercial acumen.
- You must be able to build cost and quality into every product brief and manage multiple projects at any one time.
- You will thrive in a demanding manufacturing environment and be driven to see your concepts succeed in the marketplace.
- You should have already gained some experience in a development position within the food manufacturing industry.
- You must be motivated and team orientated but most importantly truly innovative.
