An opportunity to join a market leader in a role leading and advising on best practice for product optimisation throughout the product development process and beyond.
You will be responsible for:
- Supporting and advising on cost and value optimisation projects across a wide range of product categories.
- Managing product improvement projects that will contribute to improved product performance and profitability
- Identify and advise on opportunities for projects
- Ensuring products are performing to the best possible quality and commercial standards.
- Keeping up to date with new technologies that can add value to the business and present these internally.
Experience required:
- Degree qualified in a food science/technology or related discipline or qualified through your experience gained in industry in an NPD/Process development role
- Specifically we are seeking product development experience in the food industry including knowledge of product improvement and re-development/EPD projects
- You’ll be a strong project manager able to work with teams and under your own initiative to achieve results and you’ll be able to bring passion and vision to the role.
- Experience of managing optimisation projects within NPD is highly advantageous.
The role can offer hybrid working, part office and part remote based
