An opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Factory Manager to make a positive impact to an already successful business.
Your role:
- Leading operational matters on site and the site based team through Production Managers and Departmental Managers.
- This will include KPI adherence, value added development of work practices and the ability to solve novel problems.
- Team development, clear leadership and coaching skills are also key.
- You will also play a key role with projects and multi disciplined team work to deliver improvements and you will be passionate about delivering continuous improvement.
Your background and skills:
- We are seeking a candidate with experience already gained in a senior operational role in a fast paced food manufacturing environment, chilled experience would be highly advantageous.
- Experience of CI and lean techniques would be advantageous and you must be able to show a strong track record of delivering improvements.
- We are seeking strong leadership skills and a candidate with a clear vision for getting the best out of people and processes. You will be able to demonstrate a clear problem solving aptitude and be action focussed able to deliver solutions.
This is a demanding role in a fast paced and complex operation but clear rewards and opportunities exist for career development to site leadership.
