Production Shift Manager
Shift : Monday- Friday
An opportunity has arisen to join a £multi-million food manufacturing business who pride themselves in supplying high quality food products to major retailers.
The business is undergoing a significant amount of growth & investment and therefore will be an exciting time to join the team. This role also offer’s the perfect opportunity to gain future career development.
Reporting into the Production Manager you will take responsibility for managing a team of 50-100 in a labour intensive to semi-automated environment. You’ll drive KPIs including cost efficiency, waste reduction, and set objectives to promote and implement positive change. You will be responsible for coaching, training and mentoring teams to optimise production performance.
You will have gained experience within a quality driven FMCG or Food manufacturing environment (bakery would be a advantage but not essential). You must have a positive approach to people management and be able to work to a range of KPIs on site. The ability to effectively manage, motivate and inspire a team of people to drive production forward is essential.
