Production Manager (Bakery)
North London
Excellent opportunity for a Production Manager to join a rapidly growing bakery manufacturer where you’ll take the lead in a fast paced production facility supplying to the major retailers.
About the role:
- Heading up all operational matters on shift including KPI adherence, value added development of work practices and the ability to solve operational problems
- You will manage and control the business resources through the use of effective KPIs to achieve the production plan and produce product to the correct specification, the highest quality at the most efficient cost.
- Working in partnership with the customer and promote best practice manufacturing processes on site through your team.
- Developing the skills within your team through coaching and training to support individuals and teams to reach potential
About you:
- Operational leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment, bakery experience would be highly advantageous
- You will understand the need to consistently achieve targets for quality, cost and delivery and you will enjoy being in a fast paced environment.
- You will be able to demonstrate enthusiasm for your work, a clear problem solving aptitude, a hands on approach and how you are able to get the best out of people.
- A track record of delivery against operational KPI’s and a clear focus on operation controls
- Team Management experience that includes developing and coaching your team to achieve results
