A fantastic opportunity managing productivity across a number of key farming sites. We are seeking an operationally focused leader to ensure the most effective productivity and quality standards are delivered.
The role:
- Managing the day to day farm management teams
- Ensuring excellent communication across your area ensuring all teams are working consistently and sharing best practice
- Ensure that safety, integrity, legality and quality is applied at all times and in all areas
- Ensure bio security processes and procedures are adhered to
- Staying ahead of innovation in industry to recommend strategic, long term development & improvement projects
- Working with teams to mentor and train individuals to reach their career goals
About You:
- Experience of leading teams in a farming/agricultural environment a team is essential
- Experience gained from a previous poultry farming environment would be highly advantageous
- An excellent understanding of relevant legality and welfare standards
- The ability to influence, coach, mentor and develop
- An understanding of budgetary processes and cost analysis
