Supply Chain Manager
Recognized as one of the market leaders in supply and manufacture of fresh and frozen products to the retail market our client focus on quality, service and innovation. Effective planning, management of demand and the supply chain is critical to this businesses success. Therefore our client is seeking an accomplished individual to lead the supply chain and planning activity across one of their largest production sites.
The role:
- Reporting to the Site General Manager you will work in a people and service orientated environment with a focus on exceeding customer service expectations.
- You will manage the business supply chain which will include working closely with suppliers and driving and developing performance.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing a clear departmental strategy and effective management of day to day responsibilities across planning, materials control and dispatch.
- You will also play an important role as a member of the Senior Management team including defining and implementing the broader business strategy.
The person:
- We are seeking a candidate with a broad supply chain knowledge including an appreciation of planning, logistics and dispatch within a fast paced food manufacturing environment
- You will need excellent relationship building skills and the ability to make things happen. You should have exceptional influencing and motivational skills and be able to manage senior level relationships both internally and externally.
- An understanding of both the commercial and operational elements of food manufacturing are essential as is experience of operating within a supply chain related management position.
