As a major supplier into customers including Major Grocery Retail, food manufacturing and foodservice this role offers the opportunity to join a well-established team in order to manage a £multi million portfolio of key wholesale, convenience and discount retail accounts.
The role:
- Reporting to the Senior Commercial manager you will be the main contact for a defined portfolio of accounts including wholesale and convenience customers as well as independent retail and foodservice.
- Supporting the implementation of category initiatives, promotional activity and price negotiation
- You will be responsible for developing accounts & driving sales growth in addition to being aware of new business opportunities
- Establishing relationships with all key stakeholders internally and externally e.g. buying, supply chain, finance, technical etc
The candidate:
- Of graduate calibre with experience of operating in a food FMCG commercial environment. A background in chilled/fresh food would be an advantage but is not essential.
- A self-motivated individual, you will be able to display strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence both internal and external teams.
- Experience gained in managing Retail, Wholesale, Discounter, convenience & B2B accounts
- You will be a highly organised and target focused individual with an exceptional work ethic.
This role will be partially office based; 2-3 days per week meaning that there could be a level of flexibility in terms of the successful candidates home location. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to develop your career in a fast paced business environment.
