An opportunity to work with a rapidly growing food manufacturer who produce both Own label & Branded premium products for the major grocery retailers as well as foodservice customers. Due to their sustained growth they are seeking a driven national account manager to join the team to manage and develop existing retail accounts.
The role;
- Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be responsible for managing a defined portfolio of retail accounts
- Supporting the implementation of category initiatives, promotional activity and price negotiation
- As well as growing existing accounts you will continually be aware of new business opportunities in order to maximise profitable business growth.
- Developing multi-level and cross functional relationships across the account portfolio.
Your Experience;
- Previous experience of managing major grocery retail accounts
- Worked within a food FMCG environment you will have gained a good sales grounding and will have gained experience across Own label and branded product environments
- An excellent understanding of NPD processes and category marketing would be advantageous
- A self-motivated individual, you will be able to display strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence both internal and external teams
