If you have a good laboratory background and experience in sales or customer service this is a unique commercial opportunity for a driven individual to join a contract laboratory focused on the food sector.
The company are a long established and well respected laboratory who serve the food and drink industries with analytical chemistry support and related method development and ongoing projects. They have a large team of well qualified scientists on staff with enviable laboratory facilities.
The job:
- Account managing existing customers and exploring further sales with other services through telephone, social media and face to face contact.
- Assist with commercial proposals and tenders.
- Ensuring projects work well, helping the scientists and customer develop a long standing relationship.
- Have knowledge of the capabilities of the laboratory so sales are aligned to analysis that can be delivered.
The person:
- Drive, energy and ability to influence.
- Food Industry or food science knowledge.
- Science qualification.
- Laboratory knowledge
- Great interpersonal skills
- Able to commute to site
