A leading food consultancy and training business with a strong and recognised industry reputation are keen to secure a regulatory affairs specialist to lead this part of their business.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
- Leadership and development of the regulatory affairs team ensuring all individuals can reach their full and team potential
- Contribute to the development and delivery of departmental strategy
- Deliver interpretation and commercial application of food legislation and food law
- Contribute to the range of services offered in order to deliver profitable growth
- Process and project delivery
- Act as the technical expert in the business for this area
About you:
- Degree or equivalent in relevant science law or associated subject
- A recognised and established expert in regulatory affairs, ideally in the food and drink arena
- Able to maintain knowledge and experience of advances in Regulatory Affairs
- Proven track record of managing the delivery of legislative support services
- Well-developed communication skills with evidence of successful team leadership and project delivery
- Excellent commercial skills, able to represent the business with customers and as appropriate at industry events
