An opportunity to join a growing food manufacturer producing premium products for the grocery retail market. They are seeking an experienced Specification’s professional to join their team to write product specifications for various retail customer’s & provide support to the technical team.
The Role
- You will be responsible for accurate input/maintenance of online retailer & supplier portals
- Ensuring that all artwork, both own label & branded products are effectively checked & relaying amendments to the packaging team where necessary in a timely manner
- Maintaining and updating various systems, ensuring all compliance levels are achieved
- Dealing with customer enquires & resolving them where possible
- Advising marketing department on weights, measures, advertising claims, health & nutrition, validation & legal labelling
The Person
- Experience working with major retailers is essential
- Food experience gained within a previous specification’s role
- Knowledge of working with Oracle or Prestige systems would be an advantage
- Organised, methodical and detail orientated.
