Working for a well known food and drink consultancy, we are looking for a Hygiene specialist to join our Food Safety Management Systems focusing on factory hygiene services.
General responsibilities will include:
- To support the section manager to deliver hygiene services.
- You will be involved in consultancy and testing work such as EHEDG, BRC requirements, environmental monitoring programmes, swab sampling and testing, cleaning & disinfection, training and general trouble shooting.
- Practical work will include a blend of research and contract services.
Experience/Qualification
- The successful hygiene specialist will have a degree or equivalent in Degree in a relevant scientific subject or equivalent Engineering qualification
- Hands on, practical knowledge and experience of factory environments
- Formal qualification in HACCP
- Knowledge of Microbiology an advantage
