South West
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a £multi-million FMCG business manufacturing high quality food products to a multitude of retail customers. Our client pride themselves on the quality of products through its innovation and state of the art manufacturing processes. Due to significant investment in the factory they have now identified a need to recruit a Technical Assistant.
The role;
- In this diverse role you will be supporting the Technical & Quality in ensuring that required standards of food safety, legality and quality are met and exceeded.
- You will also co-ordinate relevant technical approvals, work on technical projects and support the auditing process & BRC standards implementation
- You will work with a variety of suppliers monitoring performance & action plans
The candidate;
- We are seeking a graduate in a food science/food technology or related discipline interested in pursuing a Technical Career within the food industry.
- You should have gained experience in the food industry and this should be in a technical or QA capacity (experience could be gained with a placement year will also be considered)
- Strong people skills will be key to your success and a significant amount of time will be liaising with key contacts.
- Excellent computer skills are necessary as documentation will also need to be delivered to the highest standards.
