Vacancy Details
The role:
- You will have broad responsibilities including acting as a key representative for micro and pest control contacts as well as supplier interaction.
- Championing a food safety culture across the business.
- Analysing and trending key testing results to give insight to the business.
- You’ll be responsible for managing complaints, their analysis and resolution and be able to respond calmly to unexpected issues if they arise.
- You’ll work with suppliers to ensure raw material compliance.
- Working to ensure the site is audit ready and action any non conformance\'s through to resolution.
About you:
- We are seeking a graduate in a food science or related discipline or you could be qualified through your experience already gained in a quality or technical role in the food industry.
- Experience already gained in a technical role that demonstrates an understanding of food safety and current industry standards.
- You will have a confident nature and be enthusiastic in your approach in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and a confident Excel user.
- Flexible and organised enough to meet the changing needs of the team and business.
- A passion for food and all things technical is essential.
